Our new research project "GEOPAC - A geographical perspective on aerosol-cloud interactions" is starting in April 2013. Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), Germany's main research funding organisation, has granted us funds for three years. In the course of the project, we will investigate how aerosols in the atmosphere change cloud properties and precipitation. These important interactions are still poorly understood, and we hope to help shed light on them.
