Welcome, Dominika Kuberska!

After a two-year delay due to the pandemic, the urban and regional economics team is now delighted to announce the three-month visit of Prof Dominika Kuberska from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland. Dominika is a senior member of the Microeconmics of Competitiveness Affiliate Network at Harvard Business School and repeatedly joined MOC at RUB as a guest instructor, with the Dutch Flower Cluster as her favourite case. At her home university, Dominika is an assistant professor of economics. Her areas of interest include competitiveness, innovation, entrepreneurship, and clusters. Dominika has spent time at renowned international universities such as University College Cork, Stockholm School of Economics, and the Center of European Studies at Harvard University. Her doctoral research was focused on competitiveness and cluster development. She graduated from Poznań University of Economics. During her visit at the Institute of Geography, she will work with Prof. Kiese's team to pursue her research on clusters and cluster policies in Germany.
