The second ENLIGHT Advisory Board Meeting took place from 16th to 17th September 2021 in Bochum. The project team was happy to welcome the Advisory Board members Gerald Mills (University College Dublin) and Andreas Christen (Albert Ludwigs Universität Freiburg) in Bochum and Simone Kotthaus (École Polytechnique Paris) online. The meeting started off with the status of the ENLIGHT project and spotlight presentations on the LCZ Generator, the CWS data quality control, the SUHI database and analysis and the meteorological database. Ongoing research and future activities were presented and discussed. The Advisory Board shared great input for the future work in the project. Finally, potential collaborations were discussed. The meeting was a great success with two days of intense working and fruitful discussions. The project team and all members of the Urban Climate group are looking forward to the future collaborations and meetings.
