Programme of the Ruhr Lecture in the winter semester 2013/2014

At Tuesday the 15th October 2013 the Ruhr Lecture will be opened by a lecture of Prof. Klaus R. Kunzmann.

The Ruhr Lecture is a series of lectures which are carried out in the context of a cooperation between the Institute of Geography of the geographical institute of the Ruhr University of Bochum especially the institutes focus Transformation of Urban Landscapes (TUL) and the faculty of spatial planning of the TU Dortmund.

The Ruhr Lecture is a component of the international double degree master programme `Transformation of Urban Landscapes´ at the Ruhr- Uni Bochum as well as of the major field of study `Transformation of Post-Industrial Regions (ToPIR)´ within the master programme of spatial planning at the faculty of spatial planning of the TU Dortmund.

For the contributions well-known protagonists of the region from science and also from the practice could be won to report from her respective fields of work. The series of lectures are adressed to the specified students of the different study programmes at the Institute of Geography in Bochum as well as at the faculty of spatial planning in Dortmund. The series of lectures are also adressed to people which are interested in the development of the Ruhr-Area. The lectures are held in English.
