In the metropolis of Mexico City, wastewater treatment was recently introduced through a large sewage treatment plant. Changes in pollutant loads could also pose risks in the soil, such as mobilization of substances, and this is being investigated in this subproject of the DFG research group 5095, which focuses on the group of antibiotics and disinfectants.
