OER4SDI - Teaching material for students is available

For two years, a project team from Bochum and Münster developed materials on the subject of geoinformation processing for the training of students. The result is a structured collection for students of geoinformatics, geodesy, geomatics and related subjects. The Open Educational Resources (OER) are available for download.

The materials are designed to support students in geoinformation-related degree programs in gaining a comprehensive understanding of the architecture, implementation and use of spatial data infrastructures. The lessons address the conceptual, technical and legal foundations of distributed spatial data infrastructures as well as approaches to their development and management at regional, national and international levels.
