Patricia Glocke wins the prize for the best student paper at JURSE2023

Patricia Glocke achieved an outstanding performance at this year's JURSE2023. Her paper entitled "Impacts of altered human activities due to COVID-19 lockdown on air pollutants and land surface temperatures across European cities" convinced the jury and she was awarded the prize for the best student paper. We congratulate her on this success!

The JURSE (Joint Urban Remote Sensing Event) enables the exchange of innovative methods and technological resources in the field of remote sensing technologies in urban environments. The event took place last week from May 17th to 19th and was hosted by Prof. Dr. Benjamin Bechtel, Dr. Panagiotis Sismanidis and Joy Apfel and Leonie Krelaus from the AG Urban Bochum Climate Lab also attended.
