With the mini robot "Calliope mini" to the International Space Station

24. June 2021

"Calliope mini is a microcomputer designed to make programming fun. The tiny controller can carry out specially programmed experiments with the help of predefined code blocks. As part of the Calliope EO campaign, all pupils up to grade 7 have the opportunity to fly a microcomputer to the International Space Station with astronaut Mathias Maurer in the autumn. Researchers from the Institute of Geography at the Ruhr University Bochum and several partners are in charge of the Calliope EO campaign. Registration starts at the beginning of the new school year.
