International visiting scientist Gerald Mills from Dublin

This Tuesday Gerald Mills, Associate Professor at the University College Dublin and former president of the International Association for Urban Climate, visited the climate group for 4 days. During his visit, he gave a presentation on the London Urban Climate Walk, explaining how to teach urban climatology through field observations. In his presentation problems arising from the structure of cities and the architecture of buildings for the urban climate were discussed. Future cooperation with the University College Dublin and Gerald Mills are in planning.
