At our Ludger-Mintrop Urban climate site (LMSS) December 2015 reached an average temperature of 9.8°C. This clearly beats the previous record of 8.1°C set in 1934. While 2015 was exceptionally warm from a global perspective, the months January to October were close to average conditions in Bochum as can be seen in the figure.
