Learning Goals

Economics I (WiSe)
The students know about the epistemological interest of economics and about the typical economic approach to problems to be solved. They are able to analytically deal with consumption desires and possibilities, i.e. with the consumption decisions of private households, as well as with production desires and possibilities, i.e. with the production decisions of private companies.

Business Administration II (SoSe)
The students have gained an overview of market structure, behaviour and results as well as the functioning of differently structured markets. Furthermore, they know the national accounts and have dealt with different concepts of social product accounting. Finally, they know about the structure and interdependence of macroeconomic goods, money and labour markets, about the economic activities of the state, the functions of fiscal policy as well as the characteristics and effects of public revenues and expenditures.
