Rivers have long been channelised for human use, for example in the form of timber floating. While the geomorphology of some reaches has been restored, the long-term effects of this restoration on riparian and aquatic vegetation are unclear. In this project, we compare unrestored, basic restored and extensively restored streams in Sweden.
