In the Erasmus+ project Shape2Gether, researchers and students from various European universities are researching and implementing educational methods for sustainable development. The focus is on overcoming the challenges posed by climate change and its impact on Europe.

To this end, three different specialist areas are being brought together: Geosciences, New Technologies and Serious Game Design. The aim is to establish a pioneering international Master's degree programme in the coming years.
In cooperation with the project partners, the Institute of Geography has been offering the Shape2Gether study project since the summer semester 2024, which actively involves students through summer schools and virtual lessons.
