The Institute of Geography at Ruhr University Bochum has a new ERASMUS partner. The partnership with the Department of Geography and Land Management at Vilnius University opens up new opportunities for a study abroad experience in the Lithuanian capital. Bachelor’s and master’s students are warmly invited to take advantage of this opportunity and help shape the partnership.

The new ERASMUS partner city of Vilnius gives students from the Institute of Geography the opportunity to learn about Lithuania and the Baltic region from a local perspective. Vilnius combines a historically developed urban structure with a wide range of ongoing changes. The city’s relatively compact size, diverse neighbourhoods and proximity to green spaces make it an interesting place to study and live.

The new partnership was initiated by Professor Dovilė Krupickaitė Head of the Department of Geography and Land Management at Vilnius University, and Professor Dennis Edler.
