Members of the Nighttime Lights Remote Sensing group recently attended the 2nd European Workshop on Artificial Nighttime Light Remote Sensing. The meeting was organized by the European Space Agency and held at ESRIN in Italy. With over 100 registered in-person attendees, the meeting was more than five times larger than the 1st workshop, demonstrating the rapid growth of the field. Prof. Kyba and Julia Becker were joined at the workshop by Benjamin Koch from RUB's chair of International Economics.
