At the invitation of Angie Carolina Camacho Gutiérrez and Prof. Dr. Leonie Fischer, Dr. Mösch from our Urban Ecology and Biodiversity group visited the Institute for Landscape Planning and Ecology. As part of a teaching course, he spoke with architecture and urban planning students about the integration of wildlife into urban planning. The lecture provided insights into current research on urban wildlife and demonstrated how ecological knowledge as well as human perceptions could be incorporated into the planning and design of urban spaces. The exchange with the students led to engaging discussions at the interface of social science, ecology, architecture, and urban planning.
