Jinjin Guan, M.Sc., is conducting a comparative study on the issue of optical distress caused by wind turbines, and it´s handling during planning procedures in China and Germany. In the course of her study Jinjintook interviews with two former students of the Institute of Geography, now working in the field of wind energy. MeikeWellmanns, M.Sc., is working for the company Prokon, Itzehoe. Currently she works as a project manager, responsible for the development as well as for the construction of wind farms. Dipl.-Geogr. Andrea Gütschow is employed by turbine manufacturer Senvion, Hamburg. Currently she is realizing a wind farm in Bavaria as a project development manager.
