Programme of the Ruhr Lecture in the winter semester 2013/2014

At Tuesday the 15th October 2013 the Ruhr Lecture will be opened by a lecture of Prof. Klaus R. Kunzmann. “Ruhr Lecture” is a series of events organised  by the research and teaching focus “Transformation of Urban Landscapes (TUL)” of the Institute of Geography at Ruhr University Bochum in cooperation with the Faculty of Spatial Planning at TU Dortmund. It is embedded in two master programs: (1) the Double Degree Master Programme  “Transformation of Urban Landscapes” at the Institute of Geography at Ruhr University Bochum and (2) the research and teaching focus “Transformation of Post-Industrial Regions (ToPIR)” at the Faculty of Spatial Planning at TU Dortmund.

For each event, notable speakers of this region coming from academia and/or practice will visit. They will give insights into their daily work and will share their experiences from their respective field of work with the audience.
This series of events aims at students of the above mentioned master programs as well as a public audience that is interested in the development of the Ruhr Area. The lectures will be hold in English.

“Ruhr Lecture” takes place every Wednesday (except for October 15, 2013) from 6-8 PM (sine temporae). The locations are hall HZO 60 at the Institute of Geography at Ruhr University Bochum and room GB III, 103 at the Faculty of Spatial Planning at TU Dortmund.
