Research Interests

My research focuses on the quantitative analysis of vegetation change driven by climate change and anthropogenic influences. As part of my PhD, I investigated the current and potential future distribution of the treeline species in the Southern Andes using Species Distribution Modelling.
My current research focuses on the biodiversity of urban green spaces. These multifunctional ecosystems play an important role in providing ecosystem services, enhancing urban climate resilience, and supporting ecological connectivity.
My methodological expertise includes the application of Geographic Information Systems (ArcGIS, QGIS, and SAGA GIS), as well as statistical data analysis and modelling using R and Python.
